Judicial Watch: Records Show CIA Deployed Bomb Techs, and Dog Teams to DC on January 6

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) records include a series of text messages under the heading “January 7 Intel Chain” in which two separate references to participation by the CIA are made. One states that “two CIA bomb techs” are assisting with “a pipe bomb scene on New Jersey and D ST SE.” Another reference is “several CIA dog teams on standby.”

Fani Willis Has a New Legal Problem

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is facing a new lawsuit from the conservative activist group Judicial Watch.

Judicial Watch sued Willis and Fulton County, Georgia, on Wednesday, alleging that the plaintiffs failed to comply with state laws by allegedly refusing to hand over communications that the district attorney and county had with the former January 6 Committee and special counsel Jack Smith.

The text thread includes one message referencing “several CIA dog teams on standby” during a discussion about a drone at the southwest part of the Capitol and talks with Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department over radio capabilities.
