America in late 2022 is a sea of "wokeness," with LGBT ideologies being delivered even to small children (including the body mutilations this ideology requires), conservative ideals like the marriage between a man and a woman anathema to many, speech allowed only if it's politically correct and more.
Now Elon Musk is warning that the battle against such extremist ideologies must be won.
"Or nothing else matters."
The Daily Wire documented that Musk, during an appearance over the weekend in San Francisco at a show with Dave Chappelle, was booed.
Chappelle went sarcastic, citing Musk's decision to lay off hundreds following his purchase of Twitter, with, "It sounds like some of the people you fired are in the audience."

Within hours, Musk's response was on the record: "The woke mind virus is either defeated or nothing else matters."

The warning about wokeness being a "virus" followed his short video from just a few weeks ago about something he found in a Twitter office closet when he bought the company for $44 billion, announced he wanted it to be a true forum for free speech, and started releasing insider details about how Twitter previously suppressed the speech of conservatives and amplified a leftist ideology.

"Here we are at the merch and there is an entire closet full of — " Musk explained, before someone off-camera added, "secret closet."
"Hashtag woke T-shirts," Musk finished.
Leftists almost unanimously predicted the death of Twitter when Musk took over, especially in light of the fact their preferred narratives no longer were going to be only speech allowed. A coalition of dozens of leftists and their organizations had been insisting on an advertising boycott of the company, based on Musk's abandonment of the company's leftist "basic moderation practices."
However, the company has, in fact, been enrolling new users by the millions. And advertisers who had paused are returning.
