WATCH: Stacey Abrams Refuses to Swear Off Any Restrictions to Abortion

Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams refused to answer what, if any, restrictions she would support on abortion is she were to become Governor of Georgia.

During a Sunday CNN appearance, the far-left politician ignored a question being asked about limits on abortion.

Jake Tapper asked Abrams, “As Governor, what restriction would you be willing to support, if any?”

Abrams responded, “My first responsibility is to protect the life and the welfare of the women in this state and make it safe for them to make medical choices.”

“Those medical choices should not be governed by someone’s religious or ideological convictions,” she added.

She said such medical decisions, referring to abortion, should not be made at “the whim of politicians.”

“I believe that this six-week ban and the “derregation” of our opportunity to make this decision is wrong,” Abrams added, using her own unique verbiage.

She said “federal law” should allow women to have this “reproductive justice,” referring to a radical, far-left terminology used to soften the rhetoric of killing unborn children.

She said the issues should stop being an “political football.” The she made a direct statement, implying the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution is not the answer.

She said abortion is not something that “the ideology of the leader of the state can determine the quality of life for a woman.”

The 10th Amendment states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

This Amendment gives the right for people within a state to elect a leader, based on their own values, who will lead according to such values.

Abrams used the Sunday interview to repeat her idealogy of socialist, state-controlled legislation built on her specific ideas, a direct contradiction to her rhetoric during the appearance.

Her talking points of “reproductive justice” and a “woman’s quality of life” are the soft landing rhetoric of a pro-abortion faction of the population, who realize saying the decision to kill an unborn child will not rest well with most.

Stacey Abrams lost her bid for Governor of Georgia more than three years ago. Since then, she has declared election fraud as the reason for her loss and continues to level lawsuits to hijack the state’s highest office. Abrams has also become a flashpoint in racial politics as a Black woman who the left often uses to parrot their ideologies.
