Brad Parscale: Trump Should Run as ‘Martyr’ in 2024 Race

Brad Parscale, former President Donald Trump's one-time campaign manager, says Democrats will make Trump a "martyr" by impeaching him twice, and he should use that when for another run at the White House in 2024.

"If they only impeached you twice, you need to run again," Parscale tweeted Saturday morning. "Because, to change the system, you have to kick it in the a**. I would love to be the only president to be impeached three times. Because history remembers those that didn't conform."

He later added Democrats are "about to give [Trump] superpowers" by impeaching him again, but "they just aren't smart enough to see it."

"If Trump asked me how to win again: I would run on being impeached twice," Parscale said. "It's why we laughed at Mike Tyson in the 'Hangover.' They just don't get it yet. They are about to make him a martyr."

Parscale's remarks come as speculation is still circulating about whether Trump will try to reclaim the White House in 2024. He has not ruled another race out, but the Jan. 6 storming of Capitol Hill, which led to his impeachment trial, have caused his approval ratings to drop sharply, reports The Hill.

Parscale, who had been a major player in Trump's first campaign in 2016, returned as campaign manager in the 2020 race but left in September after police detained him at his home in Florida.

The House last month impeached Trump over his role in inciting the insurrection, making him the first U.S. president to be impeached on two separate occasions. He is expected to be acquitted in his second trial.

With a 50-50 split in the Senate, every Democrat would need to be joined by 17 Republicans to result in a conviction; however, all but five of them voted on a measure casting the trial as unconstitutional since Trump is out of office.
