Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said it isĀ "disgusting" if Amazon chose not to help the Trump administration deliver coronavirus vaccinations.
The CEO of the e-commerce giant earlier Thursday offered to help the Biden administration with the task, saying it "stands ready to assist you in reaching your goal of vaccinating 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of your administration."
It is not clear whether Amazon made the same offer to the Trump administration.
"I think it's pretty bad if they had this capability, they should have shared it with the Trump administration," Graham told Fox News' "America Reports."
"Here's what I think: The drug companies had the vaccine, they knew it was going to work days before the election, they waited until after the election to announce it.
"I think if it was a Democratic president, they would have announced it before the election. I think what Amazon is doing is pretty disgusting, if, in fact, they could have helped the Trump administration and they chose not to, because they don't like him. That's not a good moment for the Amazon company."
